The legacy of Josef Obr
The villa that shaped the history of Kutná Hora
Dating from 1898, the villa takes its name not from its size but from Josef Obr (1877–1965) — a distinguished figure and the founder of modern forestry in Kutná Hora.
Today we are restoring this architectural jewel to its original elegance and preparing it for another century — with respect for its history and a commitment to timeless luxury.

Architectural vision
Raw beauty and a modern touch
The restoration and partial reconstruction is being carried out with absolute respect for the historical context and heritage conservation. We are preserving the original proportions and complementing them with modern technology.
Large-format windows frame views of the Gothic spires of the Church of St Barbara, while state-of-the-art insulation ensures comfort worthy of the twenty-first century.
